Let us present what we will offer you as our new Embedded Software Engineer.
As an Embedded Software Engineer at MilDef Products you have a central role during the different projects. You are involved when it comes to design choices in HW design, planning and execution of SW development, board bring up activities, production support to enable testability of the product and troubleshooting. You will also support other departments within MilDef Products and other MilDef companies within your field of expertise.
We always strive to have the customer view on the products during the development to make sure that MilDef can deliver products with highest quality and exceed the customers expectation.
MilDef’s product portfolio consists of extremely durable computers, special electronics and network products for military use, and our customers are therefore found exclusively in the defense sector.
Key responsibilities/your duties will include but are not limited to;
- Develop embedded software for the products
- Develop test, calibration and verification software for the products
- Review electrical design in projects
- Assist in troubleshooting both within R&D and in production
- Assist in verification of components, blocks and products

Electronics design experience, schematic review of new designs to ensure SW perspective on design is met and experience in board bring up activities are all merits.
Must haves;
- At least 3 years of Embedded software development experience; Fluent in C
- Bachelor or master’s degree
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written (English is our corporate language)
Meritorious Qualifications;
- Electronics design experience is a strong merit
- Used to manage Linux as a development environment
- Embedded software experience like; MCUs, e.g. ARM and 8 Bit AVR, Low level buses, e.g. SPI and I2C
