An exciting opportunity has arisen as Waterjet Value Stream in looking for a Technical Sales Support Engineer. In this role you will be a part of multinational team located in Kristinehamn and Kokkola delivering technical sales support to the business.
In addition to sales support, the team also consists of engineering to order and contract management. Together we are responsible for all waterjet projects, and work is done in close cooperation between the team members as well as sales and other departments. This to ensure a good customer experience by offering and delivering the right product, on time, and according to budget.
The Sales Support Engineer is responsible for developing technically and commercially complete offers to the customer, including selecting the optimum type of waterjet and making related performance predictions, configuring a technical scope of supply, calculating the cost and create the commercial offer. This work is done with help of several computerized sales tools, and the work also involves development of the same. Support of the sales work in its different phases of a project is an important part, and you will have daily international contacts with our regional sales, yards, designers, and operators of waterjet.
The work requires a high degree of accuracy and an analytical approach to finding solutions. A flexible mindset and being able to easily adopt to new situations will help, due to the varieties of work and continuously changing requirements. Marketing, conferences, seminars and participation at trade shows may also be part of the duties, meaning travelling is a natural part of the position.

Qualifications and experience
To succeed in this position you have a technical education from college, university and/or experience from similar work as well as project work. You should enjoy being part of a team working together. Due to the nature of an international environment, high level of English, both written and oral, is important. Communication skills in other languages is considered an advantage.
